Indore News: 35-Year-Old Woman Jumps To Death Before Moving Train

Indore (Madhya Pradesh): A 35-year-old woman committed suicide by jumping in front of a moving train early on Friday morning.

Government Railway Police (GRP) personnel informed her family using her mobile phone. The reason behind her drastic step is yet to be clear.

GRP police station in-charge Rashmi Patidar said that the deceased was identified as Nikita Parmar, a resident of Karma Nagar, Banganga.

Preliminary investigation revealed that she jumped before the moving Humsafar Express train and was found seriously injured near Platform No. 1 of Laxmibai Nagar railway station.

Police personnel rushed her to MY Hospital, where she died during treatment.

Police said that after finding Nikita injured, they contacted her family using her mobile phone. Police first informed her brother in Kannod, who informed her husband, Mukesh Parmar. When Mukesh checked their home, Nikita was not there, and the main door was locked from outside.

Family members said that Nikita had gone to sleep at night with her three-month-old son. It remains unclear when she left the house and reached the railway track, which was around 1.5 km away from their house.
