Guna: Chaturbhuj Kirar wins by just 2 votes
The counting for Panch posts was taken up first. After this votes will be counted for the posts of Sarpanch, then the Janpad Panchayat member and lastly the District Panchayat member.
Guna (Madhya Pradesh): In Guna district’s Bamori janpad, 68 per cent polling was recorded till 3 pm and women voters were ahead of their male counterparts in terms of voting. At many centres, voting was going on in many centres even after 3 pm, while at some centres counting started immediately after the voting was completed.

The first result to be declared was of Doharda Panchayat. Here Chaturbhuj Kirar won the election by just two votes. He is believed to be supported by the BJP. Similarly, Ramabai Sahariya has won the election from Bamori Panchayat, the biggest panchayat and tehsil headquarters of the area.
Earlier, voting was held in a peaceful manner and voters cast their votes for the gram panchayat election after a gap of about seven years. In Bamori janpad, as many as 205 polling stations have been set up in 80-gram panchayats of this block. As per the instructions of the State Election Commission, the voting started at 7 am, which continued till 3 pm.
Bamori's Kalora recorded the lowest turnout. Till 1 pm, only 18 per cent of the people exercised their vote. At the same time, 20 per cent people cast their votes in Ajroda and 21 per cent in Dongri. A maximum of 90 per cent of voting was done in Patan till 1 pm. About 89 per cent of voting has been done in Andwara.
