Rajasthan Sees COVID-19 Spike: 2-Month-Old Baby Among 23 New Cases
According to the Medical and Health department, 8 new cases were reported on Monday. This includes 3 in AIIMS Jodhpur, One each from SNMC Jodhpur, RNT Udaipur, Rajasthan hospital Jaipur, B Lal Jaipur and EHCC Jaipur.

Jaipur: There is a spike in COVID-19 cases in Rajasthan as well. One death and 23 cases were reported positive including a two - months old baby girl in different districts of the state until Monday evening.
According to the Medical and Health department, 8 new cases were reported on Monday. This includes 3 in AIIMS Jodhpur, One each from SNMC Jodhpur, RNT Udaipur, Rajasthan hospital Jaipur, B Lal Jaipur and EHCC Jaipur.
Two deaths have been reported due to COVID in Jaipur as well. SMS Medical College spokesperson Dr Manish Agarwal said that an abandoned person was admitted to the hospital who was suffering from different health problems and was found COVID positive as well. He died during treatment on Monday. Samples of positive patients have been sent to Pune for genome sequencing.
Another patient died in Rajasthan Hospital Jaipur, Chief Medical and Health Officer Dr Ravi Shekhawat said that the deceased was 26-year-old and comorbid of TB with under treatment for two months.

As of 23 cases have been found COVID positive in the state with maximum six in Jaipur and four each from Jodhpur and Udaipur.
The health department has claimed that
mild symptoms have been seen in all the patients. However, the number of cases and children getting affected by it is raising concerns.
