Rajasthan: Controversy Escalated Over Report By Lady Police Officer Against State Minister Kirori Lal Meena
Clarifying his action the senior minister said that CI Kavita Sharma had gone to forcibly pick up Manju Sharma and Mamta Gurjar late at night, and he made a mistake by going to the spot to save them.

Jaipur: The controversy over report in the station diary by a lady police officer against the senior minister of Rajasthan Kirori Lal Meena has escalated as Meena has questioned his government on Frida.
While talking to the media at the Press Club in Jaipur, Kirodilal Meena said 'a case is being filed against me in my government. CI Kavita Sharma was effective during the Congress rule and no action is being taken on her in this government as well.'
Clarifying his action the senior minister said that CI Kavita Sharma had gone to forcibly pick up Manju Sharma and Mamta Gurjar late at night, and he made a mistake by going to the spot to save them. From now onwards, he will not go to the spot because for doing so a case was registered against him.
Meena said, 'Only Chief Minister Bhajanlal Sharma can tell on whose instructions case registered against me? I had gone to help Manju Sharma and Mamta Gurjar under the provisions of Bhartiya Naya Samhita.

Notably, there was a spat of words between Kirodilal Meena and CI Kavita Sharma of Mahesh Nagar police station on the night of December 3rd. Kirori had accused CI Kavita Sharma of harassing the families and parents of student leaders demanding cancellation of the SI recruitment exam.
Kavita Sharma had lodged a report regarding the incident in the station diary of the police station.
