The cold war continued between the two top leaders of the Rajasthan Congress, Ashok Gehlot and Sachin Pilot. Both are attacking each other on various issues, though the attack is not direct one can easily understand who is being pointed at.

CM Ashok Gehlot recently attacked Sachin Pilot indirectly in an independence day ceremony by saying that the honour of workers has become a Jumla these days. He went on to say "there are some leaders who instigate workers and said that the workers should get honour and respect in government. it has become a Jumla in the state." He further said, "have you done yourself the honour of workers? Do you know what the honour and respect of a worker are?"

It is to mention here that Sachin Pilot very often talks about the honour of workers by giving them appointments in the government and raising this issue time and again. So what Gehlot has said is being considered an indirect attack on Pilot.

In counter to this, Sachin Pilot did not react to this particular statement but attacked the government on the issue of the death of a Dalit boy in the Jalore district.

He said, "We are in the power so we cannot escape the responsibility. We have to inculcate the belief in Dalits and Adivasis that no one will be spared."

"The government should work to correct the shortcomings. We can not say that it is happening in other states also," added Sachin while talking to the media after meeting with the parents of the victim boy on Tuesday.

He also demanded to transfer the ADM and deputy SP who ordered for lathi-charge on the protesting villagers on the issue.

Meanwhile, in their resignation letters, twelve Congress council members from the Baran Municipal Council expressed their outrage over crimes against Dalits and supported party MLA Pana Chand Meghwal.
