Bihar: 3 of 6 minor girls die after consuming agricultural fumigant Sulphas in Aurangabad district
After returning from Guruwa, they took agricultural fumigant Sulphas from a farm, went to a neighbourhood field and simultaneously consumed it one by one which killed three of them.
In a shocking incident in Bihar's Aurangabad district on Friday evening, three minor village girls were killed while three others were admitted to the Magadh Medical College Hospital in Gaya after they supposedly consumed agricultural fumigant.
Aurangabad district SP Kantesh Kumar Mishra said that the preliminary investigations suggest the minor girls from Chirala village under Kutumba police station had consumed Sulhas in a "suicidal agreement" over the failure of one of the 14-year-old girl's in persuading Bittu Kumar of neighbourhood Guruwa to marry her.
Bittu, according to the village panchayat head of Baghoura Anuj Singh, was the brother of her sister's husband.
The minor girls reportedly had gone to Guruwa Friday evening as a last attempt to persuade Bittu, but the boy refused to accept the proposal.

According to the statement of 14-year-old Barsha Kumari, who is admitted to the hospital, all the girls took pledge simultaneously to sympathise with their village friend over her failure in love and resolved to "end their lives".
Refiganj circle inspector MK Chaudhary said though none came to register FIR, the police have begun investigations.
