Bengaluru: The Garden City is set to witness moderate rainfall on Sunday, April 20, 2025. The city woke up at 06 :04 AM with a partly cloudy sky this morning, and it is likely to remain the same throughout the day. The minimum and maximum temperatures are expected to range from 23 degrees Celsius and 32 degrees Celsius, respectively. The city is expected to witness the sunset at 06:33 PM.
The humidity is expected to be around 66 per cent. The wind is expected to blow from the West at 14 km/h. The city has been experiencing incessant rains for the past few weeks, which also caused waterlogging that led to the disruption of vehicle movement and daily life.
IMD predicts rainfall in these regions
The India Meteorological Department (IMD) said that the rainfall is predicted in the city till Sunday, April 20. According to the Karnataka State Natural Disaster Monitoring Centre (KSNDMC), light to moderate rainfall is predicted in the city, which will be accompanied by gusty winds in North Interior Karnataka and South Interior Karnataka.
KSNDMC shared a weather report for the next five days on X and wrote, "Thunderstorms, lightning, and gale force winds with gusts reaching 30-50 kmph are likely across the state for the next 5 days, with scattered moderate rainfall in coastal, Malnad and south interior districts."
