Who Was Shobitha Shivanna? All About 30-Yr-Old Kannada Actress Who Died By Suicide In Hyderabad
Kannada actress Shobitha Shivanna was found dead at her Hyderabad residence on Sunday at the age of 30. She reportedly lived there with her husband, Sudhir Reddy. After becoming a household name with shows like Brahmagantu and Ninnindale, Shobitha also starred in films like Vandana and ATM: Attempt To Murder. The reason behind her suicide is yet to be ascertained.

Kannada actress Shobitha Shivanna was found dead at her Hyderabad residence on Sunday, and according the police, she died by suicide. In their official statement, cops said that the 30-year-old actress hung herself to death at her home.
Shobitha was found dead at her residence in Kondapur under the Gachibowli police station area, where she lived with her husband, Sudhir. A case has been registered and her mortal remains have been sent to Gandhi Hospital for post-mortem. Police have now launched an investigation to find out the reason behind her taking the drastic step.
Who was Shobitha Shivanna?
Shobitha hailed from Sakleshpur in Hassan district of Karnataka, and before venturing into films, the actress featured in a number of hit Kannada television serials. She became a household name with daily soaps like Brahmagantu and Ninnindale, among others.
She also starred in films like Vandana, ATM: Attempt To Murder, Kavi, and others. Besides, Shobitha also worked as a television anchor and presenter.
Shobitha got married to Sudhir Reddy in 2023 and, as per reports, she had stepped back from acting post her marriage. Reportedly, she was soon set to make her comeback on the big screen.

According to reports, Shobitha's husband Sudhir was the one who called the Gachibowli police around 12 noon on Sunday. He reportedly knocked the door several times but in vain.
Finally, he broke the door open and that is when he found the actress hanging dead.
While the police are recording statements and investigating her death, Shobitha's last rites will reportedly be held in Karnataka.
