While posing for the paparazzi, Vijay made a playful joke, saying that after their final wedding celebration today, they hope to 'go underground' quietly. He quipped this in reference to how, ever since their wedding, they have been busy with post-wedding rituals, meeting fans, and hosting the media in Hyderabad.

Vijay said, "Thank you all, thank you for all the love. Today, we hope to finish the celebration and go underground quietly," while making a playful sleeping gesture with his hand, a remark that left Rashmika in splits.

Rashmika and Vijay made a regal entry at their wedding reception, turning heads with their elegant traditional ensembles. Choosing to keep it simple, they ditched extravagant outfits.

The actress looked radiant in a red Mysore silk saree featuring a black and gold border. She complemented the traditional drape with heavy gold temple jewellery, including layered necklaces, statement earrings, and a bold choker that enhanced her bridal-inspired look. Her makeup was kept dewy, her hair styled in a neat braid adorned with red flowers, and she wore sindoor as a symbol of her new marital status.

Meanwhile, Vijay opted for a traditional ensemble similar to his wedding look, choosing a classic silk Pattu Pancha. He accessorised with a chunky metallic chain, while his neatly groomed beard and styled hair completed his polished appearance.

Rashmika and Vijay are reported to have started dating around 2018, shortly after meeting on the set of their film Geetha Govindam.
