Tina Datta's Grandmother Passes Away, Actress Pens Emotional Note: 'Lost A Piece Of My Heart'

Television actress Tina Datta lost her grandmother on January 11, 2025. On Wednesday, she penned an emotional note on her social media handle and she mourned her grandmother's loss.

Sharing unseen photos and videos with her grandmother, Tina wrote, "And lost a piece of my heart.. Someone who was extremely dear to me and loved me with all her heart.. She was my safe heaven. My comfort zone, my happiness… To no more sloppy kisses and Lobee you.. to no more cheek rubs and cheek pulls , to no more troubling up and making her wear nail polish.. to no more her making me all the amazing sweet dishes and bhog.. To no more calling and asking , “koube ashbi?” Taratari aai , sabdhane jash.."

Tina further wrote, "Today whatever lil spiritual i am , all thanks to Amma.. Will miss you with all my heart Amma.. Thing’s are never ever gonna be the same without you… Words fall short.. You held a vvv special place in my heart and vice versa.. and i know i was your only Fav love you amma…11.01.2025."

On the work front, Tina rose to popularity after playing the role of Ichcha in the drama series Uttaran, which also starred Rashami Desai, Nandish Sandhu, Rohit Khurana, Sreejita De and Mrunal Jain.

She was last seen in the serial Hum Rahein Na Rahein Hum, which aired from 10 April to 22 September 2023. The show also featured Jay Bhanushali in the lead.
