The actress was seen wearing an off-white bralette-style blouse alongside a cape and a drape skirt as part of her traditional look, which did not go down well with some netizens.

Some users accused the advertisement of allegedly making a mockery of Indian festivals, while others criticised the brand for coming up with such a concept. Several users criticised the outfit, with one calling it 'sick' and 'extremely shameful.'

The advertisement sparked a debate online, with some questioning the choice of attire for a campaign associated with the festival of Raksha Bandhan. Apart from Kriti’s outfit, the inclusion of the dog also irked several netizens. In the advertisement, the dog is seen barking as Kriti ties a traditional rakhi to him. The actress then extends the festive gesture to her pet, treating the animal as part of the family and tying a rakhi to the dog.

What nonsense?” Another criticised the campaign, calling it “extremely shameful” and alleging that brands often get away with such advertisements because people do not raise objections.
