Actress Tamannaah Bhatia is all set to play the role of a Sadhvi in the upcoming film Odela 2. And during the press meet of the film on Saturday, the actress slammed a journalist for labelling her 'milky beauty' and questioning the director over casting her in the film.
A female reporter was seen asking Odela 2 director Ashok Teja, "Why did you look at a ‘Milky Beauty’ and think that she could be a Shiva Shakti?" The question did not go well with Tamannaah, who decided to take over and give a befitting reply to the journalist.
A visibly irked Tamannaah maintained her calm and said, "Your question has the answer in it. He doesn’t look at ‘Milky Beauty’ as something that is to be shamed or felt bad about. Glamour, in a woman, is to be celebrated. And we women must celebrate ourselves. Then we can expect other people to celebrate us. If we look at us in a certain way then nobody can respect us."
