Sanam Teri Kasam Re-Release Box Office Collection Day 1: Harshvardhan-Mawra Starrer Beats Loveyapa, Badass Ravi Kumar & Interstellar

This week, surely something unexpected has happened at the box office. A re-release is dominating at the ticket windows, and new releases have not received a great response. Well, we are talking about Harsvardhan Rane and Mawra Hocane starrer Sanam Teri Kasam which was re-released yesterday. The film has taken a fantastic opening at the box office and has performed much better than the new releases like Loveyapa and Badass Ravi Kumar, and Hollywood re-release Interstellar.

As per Sacnilk, Sanam Teri Kasam has collected Rs. 4.25-4.50 crore at the box office on day 1 of its re-release. When the film had released in 2016, it had taken an opening of Rs. 1.25 crore, and the lifetime collection was Rs. 9 crore. So, now as the film has re-released, on its day one itself, it has collected 50% of the lifetime collection when it was originally released.

It is expected that Sanam Teri Kasam will show a good growth at the box office over the weekend. The movie, which was made at a budget of Rs. 14 crore in 2016, was a box office dud at that time. But, it looks like during its re-release Sanam Teri Kasam is all set to become a super hit as it will easily collect the budget in its first weekend itself.

Meanwhile, another re-release Interstellar has collected Rs. 2.25-2.50 crore at the box office on day 1 which is also quite good.

Well, in the new releases as expected Badass Ravi Kumar has received a better response on day 1 with a collection of Rs. 2.75 crore. Meanwhile, Junaid Khan and Khushi Kapoor starrer Loveyapa has just collected Rs. 1.25 crore.

While Sanam Teri Kasam,  Interstellar, and Badass Ravi Kumar are expected to do well over the weekend, Loveyapa surely needs a miraculous jump to sustain at the box office.
