Ram Charan and Upasana expecting their first child after 10 years of marriage

Actor Ram Charan and his entrepreneur wife Upasana are expecting their first baby. The news was confirmed by Chiranjeevi on Twitter on Monday.

"With the blessings of Shri Hanuman ji, we are delighted to share that Upasana and Ram Charan are expecting their first child. With love & gratitude, Surekha and Chiranjeevi Konidela; Shobana and Anil Kamineni," the superstar tweeted.

Ram Charan re-shared the tweet and added a red heart and folded hand emoticon.

Ram Charan and Upasana are one of the most sought after celebrity couples. They tied the knot in 2012 and recently celebrated 10 years of marital bliss.

In the past, the couple often make headlines because of pregnancy rumours. However, time and again, Upasana had shrugged off the question by saying that it is her and her husband’s ‘personal choice’ to not have children.

Upasana is the daughter of Shobana Kamineni and the granddaughter of Prathap C. Reddy, the Executive Chairman of Apollo Hospitals.

Meanwhile on work front, Ram Charan was last seen in SS Rajamouli’s magnum opus ‘RRR’. He was also seen in 'Acharya' alongside Chiranjeevi, Pooja Hegde, and Sonu Sood.

Ram Charan will next be seen in a big-budget tentatively titled 'RC15' directed by Shankar Shanmugham. He plays an IAS officer in the film and the plot revolves around politics. Kiara Advani, who previously appeared alongside Ram Charan in 'Vinaya Vidheya Rama', will also be seen with the Telugu star in this political drama.
