Oscars 2023: Not Ram Charan or Jr NTR, but THIS actor will perform on Naatu Naatu at 95th Academy Awards

The team of SS Rajamouli's magnum opus 'RRR' is just a day away from its biggest test -- the 95th Academy Awards.

The Oscars are scheduled to be held on March 12 in Los Angeles, and 'RRR' has created history by securing a nomination at the prestigious awards show.

The foot-tapping number from 'RRR', titled 'Naatu Naatu' has been nominated under the Best Original Song category at the Oscars.

Among those who will represent the 'RRR' contingent at the Oscars will be filmmaker SS Rajamouli, actors Ram Charan and Jr NTR, music composer MM Keeravani, and singers Rahul Sipligunj and Kaala Bhairava.

'Naatu Naatu' will be performed live at the Oscars by the OG singers, Sipligunj and Bhairava. However, Ram Charan and Jr NTR, who originally danced to the song in the film and gave the world the iconic hookstep, won't be seen performing live at the awards show.

Instead, Bollywood actress and dancer Lauren Gottlieb is set to step in their shoes and she will be seen shaking a leg to 'Naatu Naatu' at Hollywood's biggest night.

The 95th Academy Awards will be held at the iconic Dolby Theatre in Hollywood, Los Angeles, on March 12.

It will be hosted by Jimmy Kimmel.

Apart from 'RRR', India also has two more nominations at the Oscars. Shaunak Sen's 'All That Breathes' has been nominated in the Best Documentary Feature category and 'The Elephant Whisperers' has secured a nomination in the Best Documentary Short Film category.

Not just that, but Deepika Padukone is all set to represent India at the Oscars as well as she will be seen presenting an award to one of the deserving winners.
