Bhojpuri actress Amrapali Dubey thanks UP Police after her stolen items worth Rs 25 lakh recovered within 24 hrs
The actress said that her mobile phone, gold jewellery and her mother's purse were stolen from her hotel room

Popular Bhojpuri actress Amrapali Dubey thanked Yogi Adityanath government and Uttar Pradesh Police on Friday after her stolen items worth Rs 25 lakh were recovered within 24 hours.
For those unversed, Amrapali's personal belongings were stolen from a hotel room in Ayodhya.
While interacting with the media, the actress said that her mobile phone, gold jewellery and her mother's purse went missing from her room.
"It was scary. I informed the receptionist immediately after I realised my things were missing. The police then came and checked the CCTV footage. It was my mistake actually as I forgot to lock the door," she said.
Praising the efforts of Ayodhya Police and thanking the CM, Amrapali added, "I'm so grateful that I got all my stuff back. Not even a lipstick from my purse is missing. I thank the cops and everyone for their support. I didn't expect that all the items would be recovered within 24 hours. Now, I can proudly say that I am a resident of UP."
Reportedly, Amrapali was staying with her mother in Hotel Shane Avadh in Kotwali Nagar Civil Line area.
With the help of the CCTV footage, the Ayodhya Police arrested the thief on Thursday (November 24).
Amrapali majorly appears in Bhojpuri films. She had played the lead role in the show Rehna Hai Teri Palkon Ki Chhaon Mein as Suman. She acted in Saat Phere and Maayka on Zee TV. The actress was also seen in Mera Naam Karegi Roshan.
In 2014, Amrapali made her debut in Bhojpuri cinema with a leading role in Nirahua Hindustani opposite Dinesh Lal Yadav.
