'Re-Release Ya Awarapan 2': Emraan Hashmi's Cryptic Post Leaves Fans Confused (Watch Video)

Many Bollywood movies are re-releasing and there were rumours that Emraan Hashmi and Shriya Sharan starrer Awarapan might also hit the big screens again. The movie, which was released in 2007, was a flop at the box office. However, the music of the film is still remembered by one and all. Today, Emraan posted a video which actually looks like an animated version of a couple of scenes from Awarapan, and in the background the song 'To Phir Aao' is being played. Emraan captioned the video as, "Jumma Mubarak."

The actor's fans got quite excited after watching the video, but they are confused that whether a sequel to Awarapan is happening or the film is re-releasing. A fan commented, "Ye re-release ho ya Awarapan 2, hum Awarapan k fans dono mein khush hain." ANother fan wrote, "Wow our emraan is back Awarapan Shivam." One more fan commented, "Can't thank you enough for this Emraan!!! @therealemraan Thank you so much for this!! #Awarapan #Awarapan2."

Awarapan was directed by Mohit Suri and written by Mahesh Bhatt. While it had received mixed reviews, the film had just collected Rs. 7.76 crore. Well, if it is re-releasing, it will be interesting to see what response the movie will get.

Sanam Teri Kasam, which was re-released last month, was also a flop at the box office when it was originally released in 2016. However, with a collection of Rs. 33 crore plus, it is now the highest-grossing re-released film.

Meanwhile, even if Awarapan 2 is happening we are sure that this time fans would go to theatres to watch it as there no good romantic films being made in Bollywood.

Taking about Emraan's upcoming movies, the actor is all set to make his Telugu debut with a movie titled OG which also stars Pawan Kalyan in the lead role. He has also signed another Telugu movie titled G2 which will have Adivi Sesh in the lead role.
