Mumbai: Fire Breaks Out At Udit Narayan's Andheri Building, Singer's Neighbour Dies (VIDEO)
On January 6, 2025, a fire broke out at Udit Narayan's building in Andheri West, Mumbai, at 9:15 PM. His 75-year-old neighbour, Rahul, died from asphyxiation, while his relative, Raunak, was seriously injured. The fire, reportedly triggered by a diya, was declared Level II by the Mumbai Fire Brigade. Udit Narayan was safe but deeply shaken by the tragedy.

On January 6, 2025, a massive fire broke out at singer Udit Narayan's building in Skypan Apartments, located in Shastri Nagar, Andheri West, Mumbai, at 9:15 PM. His neighbour, Rahul Mishra, 75, who resided on the 11th floor in the other wing, was declared dead due to asphyxiation after being rushed to Kokilaben Hospital. His 38-year-old relative, Raunak Mishra, who was present in the flat, was also seriously injured in the fire.
The fire was reported by a citizen at 10:02 PM, and the Mumbai Fire Brigade (MFB) declared it a Level-II fire at 11:20 PM. The fire was successfully extinguished by 1:49 AM.

A bystander at the site claimed that the family had burnt a diya, whose flame allegedly engulfed the nearby curtains, triggering the fire. According to reports, Rahul's wife ran downstairs, screaming for help, prompting the watchmen to rush up to the flat. However, by the time they arrived, it was too late.
Udit Narayan was reportedly safe during the fire; however, he is deeply shaken by the tragic incident. The singer is yet to share an official statement regarding the same.
A few days ago, Shaan and his family narrowly escaped a fire that broke out at their residential building, Fortune Enclave, in Bandra. Later, he took to his Instagram to share details of the incident and confirmed that everyone in his family is safe.
As per a PTI report, the fire broke out at around 1 am. While no fatalities were reported, an 80-year-old woman was found unconscious on the building’s eighth floor and was later rushed to the nearby Bhabha Hospital for treatment.
