Kangana Ranaut DELETES 'Sasti Copy' Post On Taapsee Pannu: 'Why Couldn't Her Parents Birth Someone Original Like Mine?'

Kangana Ranaut and Taapsee Pannu's long-running feud has resurfaced after the latter recently revisited their differences, revealing that she had never met Kangana before their issues began and has still not met her in person. Taapsee said their contrasting views reflected their respective upbringings and the way they perceive things.

Following Taapsee's comments, Kangana once again hit back at the actress, calling her a 'sasti copy' and referring to her upcoming film Gandhari as a 'B grade film.' Kangana also brought Taapsee’s parents into the argument. Though Kangana's dig at Taapsee was evident, she did not name anyone in the post.

The actress and BJP MP took to her Instagram story and wrote, "One Sasti copy is out and about with her upcoming B grade film but as usual only headline point with the media is Kangana Ranaut, but today she crossed all limits shamelessly ridiculing my upbringing/parents, I think all parents do their best and I never bring any parents in to any argument, but today I also want to ask her parents why they couldn't birth someone original like my parents did? Why a cheap Sasti copy? Feel sorry for your efforts."

However, Kangana later deleted the Instagram Stories in which she had made the remarks against Taapsee.

Kangana further stated that Taapsee was not the only one who had questioned her upbringing, claiming that many people like her who grew up in "shady, cramped-up outskirts of cities” and “dingy rented apartments” with “questionable backgrounds and incomes” often malign her parents and upbringing. She added that her parents “hail from a renowned Rajput zamindar Family and [were] raised by educated distinguished parents.”

She further questioned why her decision to start her career from scratch was being used to target her parents, saying it was “a personal choice for me to start from scratch” and asking, “Why attack my parents for that? Where is this hubris coming from? Jesus school English?”

The reason behind Kangana’s decision to delete the posts is not known as of now. Taapsee has yet to react to Kangana’s latest comments.
