The India vs Pakistan Asia Cup match is all set to take place today (September 14, 2025) at the Dubai International Stadium. Poonam Pandey took to Instagram to share a video in which she is standing on the streets of Mumbai with placards, cheering for the Indian cricket team. The actress captioned the video as, "Took to the crowded Mumbai streets today, clearly intrigued fans and why?! Well, stating it LOUD & CLEAR “India🇮🇳 Hi Jeetega" (sic)."

She further wrote, "All set for today’s most controversial (than me too) Cricket Match!!! Are you?! (sic)." Check out the video below...

She was carrying two placards. One of the placards read, "MAIN POONAM PANDEY! MAIN ZINDA HOON AUR INDIA JEETNE WALI HAI! #INDIAHIJEETEGA (sic)."

Another placard read, "EVEN MY CONTROVERSIES LAST LONGER THAN PAKISTAN'S BATTING! #INDIAHIJEETEGA (sic)."

In the video, we can see that some people on the streets were quite surprised to see Poonam with placards, and some joined her in cheering for team India.

While Poonam as usual decided to create a buzz by doing some drama, Raveena Tandon took to X to share her viewpoint about it. She tweeted, "So ok the match is on. I hope our team plays with black bands on and takes a knee. Before taking victory (sic)." Check out the tweet below...

While talking to the media about the match, Suniel Shetty said, "It's a world sporting body. They have to abide by those rules and regulations because there are a lot of other sports and a lot of athletes who are involved in them. As Indians, I think that is our personal call that we have to take, whether we want to see it, whether we don't want to see it, whether we want to go or not go and that's a call India has to take.”
