Watch: Malaika Arora and Arbaaz Khan receive son Arhaan at Mumbai airport; netizens hail their 'co-parenting'

Bollywood diva Malaika Arora and her ex-husband, actor-producer Arbaaz Khan, came together to receive their son, Arhaan, at the Mumbai airport in the wee hours on Wednesday.

According to several videos and pictures of their meet making the rounds on the internet, both Malaika and Arbaaz can be seen greeting Arhaan with a hug.

The 20-year-old has been studying filmmaking in the US. He reportedly came home for his winter break.

Malaika and Arbaaz tied the knot in 1998 and got divorced in 2017.

Moments after the video was shared on social media, netizens lauded Malaika and Arbaaz for co-parenting their son and 'respecting' each other.

"Just love the way both are respecting each others life & co-parenting their son," a user commented.

Another user commented, "They are handling their respective lives as also their son with dignity...they are co-parenting the child n that's what's important....no mid slinging or blame games, two matured adults who decided to part ways amicably."

Malaika recently made her OTT debut with the show Moving In With Malaika. Filmmaker-choreographer Farah Khan appeared as a special guest on the first episode and while interacting with her, Malaika also opened up about her divorce with Arbaaz.

She also added that she wanted to get married just because she wanted to 'get out of the house'.

Praising ex-husband Arbaaz, Malaika said, "I got married because I just wanted to get out of the house. I was the one who proposed. It was not Arbaaz who proposed to be. It was the other way round. I actually said, ‘you know what, I want to get married. Are you ready?’ Very sweetly, he turned around and told me, ‘you pick the date and the place’. He is a wonderful person," Malaika said.

Malaika revealed that they parted ways because she wanted ‘different things in life’. "He let me be the person I am. I feel a lot of me that I am today is also because of him. He let me be the person I am. I was very young, I also changed, I also wanted different things in life. Somewhere I felt that was missing in my space and I needed to move on. I felt that I could do that if I could actually let go of certain ties", Malaika told Farah.

Farah added that the couple seemed to be in a good place till Dabangg, however, it was after the film that she "saw the difference." Malaika was then seen getting emotional and hugging Farah.

Malaika began dating actor Arjun Kapoor in 2017. She is quite active on social media and regularly updates fans on her activities by posting pictures and videos.
