Here's why Arijit has started wearing a turban
The Kesariya singer was spotted wearing a turban for the first time during one of his online concerts on June 6, 2021. Since then, he has always been spotted covering his head.
According to a media report, it is because of the singer’s roots. His mother was a Bengali and his father, Kakkar Singh, is a Sikh. During the COVID-19-induced pandemic, the singer chose to go back to his roots.
He also shifted base to Jiaganj, West Bengal, from Mumbai. He live there with his wife and children. It may be mentioned that the singer has a residence in Mumbai but goes back only for work assignments.
