On his sixth death anniversary on June 14, 2026, the late actor's sister, Shweta Singh Kirti, remembered her "bhai" in an emotional social media post. She shared an AI-generated image of Sushant as Lord Ram, along with several other photographs, and reflected on his memories, values, and the lasting impact he continues to have on millions of people.

Shweta stated that instead of choosing to remember how Sushant left, she prefers to keep in mind how the actor lived. I think of someone who taught us that success means very little if it is not accompanied by compassion," wrote Shweta.
