The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) will release the official notification for the National Defence Academy (NDA) & Naval Academy (NA) Examination (I), 2025 and the Combined Defence Services (CDS) Examination (I), 2025 today, December 11, 2024. Aspirants can view and download the notifications from the UPSC website, upsc.gov.in.
Registration Timeline & Exam Date
The online application process for both exams will commence today, December 11, 2024, and will remain open until December 31, 2024. Candidates are advised to complete their registrations within this window. Both examinations are scheduled to take place on April 13, 2025.
Steps to Apply for UPSC NDA & NA, CDS I Exams 2025:
1. Visit the official website: upsconline.nic.in.
2. Register on the One Time Registration (OTR) platform if not already registered.
3. After registration, log in and click on the respective links for NDA & NA or CDS I Exam 2025.
4. Fill out the application form with accurate details.
5. Pay the application fee using the available payment methods.
6. Submit the application form and download a copy for future reference.
Application Fee Details:
-For CDS I: ₹200 (Exemption for female/SC/ST candidates).
-For NDA & NA I: ₹100 (Exemption for SC/ST candidates, female candidates, and wards of JCOs/NCOs/ORs).
Payment Modes: SBI branch cash deposit, Visa/Master/RuPay debit/credit cards, UPI, or internet banking.
Exam Details:
NDA & NA Exam: Open for candidates aspiring to join the Army, Navy, or Air Force wings.
CDS Exam: For admission to Indian Military Academy (IMA), Indian Naval Academy (INA), Air Force Academy (AFA), and Officers Training Academy (OTA).
Both exams will be held in a written format followed by an interview conducted by the Services Selection Board (SSB).
