NEET PG 2025: Internship Deadline Extended To July 31, Exam Date Set For June 15; Official Notice Here
The NEET PG 2025 exam is tentatively scheduled for June 15, 2025. Registration will begin on April 5, 2025, with a deadline of May 5, 2025.

The National Medical Commission (NMC) has announced that the deadline for completing the internship for NEET PG 2024 is July 31, 2024. Initially, the tentative date for the NEET PG 2025 exam was set for June 15, but the commission has confirmed this. A notice was released addressing the Deans and Principals of all medical colleges and universities under NMC.
The official notice states, "Reference is cited to Communication no. N-P050 (20)/40/2024-PGMEB-NMC dated 05-12-2024 issued by the Post Graduate Medical Education Board (PGMEB) on the subject mentioned above as enclosed herewith. The said communication inter-alia informs that the Internship completion date may be kept as 31st July 2025 and the tentative date to conduct NEET-PG 2025 examination will be 15-06-2025. All concerned stakeholders are requested to kindly take note of the same."

The NEET PG is held once a year and is an online computer-based exam with 200 MCQs. The exam provides admission to MD, MS, PG Diploma, and DNB programs post-MBBS. The cutoff percentile for the Unreserved category is 50, for SC/ST/OBC it is 40, and for UR PwD, it is 45.
