National Science Day 2025: Children Bring Imagination To Life At ‘Fantasy Spaceship’ Event
The ‘Fantasy Spaceship’, a bus equipped with interactive screens, enabled children to scan their drawings, which were then digitally processed and displayed as 3D characters on large touch-enabled screens inside the bus.

To commemorate National Science Day, children from across the city engaged with the ‘Fantasy Spaceship’ stationed at Nehru Science Centre, Worli, from 28 February to 2 March. The initiative, part of the ‘Big Fantasies’ campaign by Sunfeast Dark Fantasy, provided an interactive experience where children's hand-drawn designs were transformed into 3D interactive characters.

The initiative aimed to encourage creativity by integrating technology and art.
The campaign was also conducted in major cities in South India, including Bangalore, Chennai, and Hyderabad. The event on its first day saw participation from 500 plus children. Moreover, as part of the initiative, selected children will be given an opportunity to visit NASA, further encouraging interest in space exploration.

A child named Rahul shared that he enjoyed seeing his drawing transformed into a digital superhero. His mother, Anjali, noted that the initiative provided an engaging activity that combined science and creativity.
