KVS, NVS Tier-II Examination Results 2026 To Be Declared By CBSE Today

The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) on Thursday, August 20, 2026, released an important update regarding the Tier-II Recruitment Examination for Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan (KVS) & Navodaya Vidyalaya Samiti (NVS).

According to a release issued by CBSE, the Tier-II recruitment examination results for Post Graduate Teacher (PGT) Economics, PGT History and Trained Graduate Teacher (TGT) Work Experience will be declared today, August 20.

The announcement comes in continuation of earlier communications issued by CBSE regarding the recruitment examination.

How to check Tier-II results

Candidates can view their individual results by logging into their application portal through the link provided by CBSE. Candidates are advised to keep their login credentials ready and check their individual status on the portal.

Details regarding the selection process

CBSE said that the stage of the selection process varies depending on the post, as specified in the recruitment notification.

For posts where an interview forms part of the selection process, the result being declared at this stage indicates the candidate’s status for shortlisting for the interview. As the selection process is continuing, CBSE said the interview schedule will be made available to shortlisted candidates 15 days before the interview process.

For posts where the selection process does not include an interview, Tier-II marks will be made available in the respective candidate login along with the declaration of the result.

CBSE further said that candidates required to exercise a preference under the recruitment notification must submit the appropriate application according to the instructions displayed in their login. Candidates have been advised to exercise their preference carefully within the stipulated period.

For posts involving an interview or skill test, CBSE said the schedule and call letters will be made available in the respective candidate logins after finalisation of the schedule in consultation with KVS/NVS, as applicable.

Results to be declared in phases

CBSE said results for the remaining posts are also being finalised and will continue to be declared in phases.

Candidates are advised to regularly visit the official websites of CBSE, KVS and NVS and their application login for further updates regarding the recruitment process.

The Board also clarified that the EMRS Tier-II Recruitment Examination results will be declared separately through the official EMRS/NESTS website.
