DU Announces Sports Quota Trials For UG Admission; Check Dates And Guidelines
Delhi University has announced the sports trial schedule for UG admissions under the Sports Supernumerary Quota for the 2025–26 academic year. The trials will be conducted from July 31 to August 4, 2025, across various colleges and sports venues in Delhi. Over 30 disciplines, including athletics, cricket, badminton, swimming, and shooting, are included for both male and female candidates.

DU UG Sports Admission 2025: Delhi University has announced the dates for sports trials under Sports Supernumerary Quota for UG admissions for the year 2025–26. The trials will take place between July 31 and August 4, 2025, in several colleges and sports complexes in Delhi. More than 30 sports disciplines are covered for male and female candidates, including athletics, badminton, cricket, football, swimming, boxing, judo, squash, shooting, and more.
The candidates who are appearing for the trials should report with a printed copy of their CSAS (UG) 2025 application form as well as a valid proof of identity. All the participants should report at least 30 minutes prior to their respective trial time, wearing proper sports wear. Late reporting will not be entertained.
Also, candidates need to bring sport-specific gadgets as needed for their sport. For example, badminton candidates need to bring a Yonex AS shuttlecock, cricket hopefuls should bring a Sonex Test Selection ball, and those showing up for shooting should bring pellets with them. Some other things needed are a chessboard and clock for chess, a Wilson ball for tennis, and TTFI/ITTF-approved plastic balls for table tennis, among others.
The candidates can expect lengthy trial periods, particularly if the number of candidates is large. Notably, parents or guardians who accompany candidates will not be permitted entry into the trial areas.
This is an essential step in providing students of sporting ability with a chance to secure admission to Delhi University under its special sports quota.
