Practice NCERT Example Questions:
- NCERT example problems are frequently asked in previous exams by CBSE. Therefore, practice those questions from the NCERT textbooks
Practice Sample Papers:
- Practice at least 5 sample papers based on the CBSE model questions. This will make you efficient in managing your time in the exam.
- Utilise a timer, scheduling it for approximately 2 hours and 30 minutes, to simulate exam situations.
Develop a Quiet Study Atmosphere:
- Attempt solving sample question papers in quiet, distraction-free conditions. You will be able to focus more.
Begin Easier Questions During the Exam:
- At the examination centre, start with easier questions to build confidence first and then proceed towards the harder questions.
Avoid Sticking on Objective Questions:
- If you are not sure of an objective question, leave it for the moment and return to it later after attempting other questions. Don't spend too much time on one question.
Recall Important Formulas and Definitions:
- Concentrate on important formulas and definitions, particularly those mentioned on the last page of each chapter.
Practice Commonly Asked Topics:
Some topics are often asked in CBSE exams. Make sure you practice these:
- HCF and LCM-based problems
- Distance formula-based questions
- Finding roots of quadratic equations
- Prove that √2, √3, etc., are irrational numbers
- Linear equations to find the value of 'x'
- Mean, Median, Mode
- Prove Thales theorem, mid-point theorem.
