The registration deadline for the state National Merit-cum-Means Scholarship Scheme (NMMS) 2025 exam has been extended by the State Council of Educational Research and Training (SCERT) Bihar until December 7. On the official website, scert.bihar.gov.in, interested students can register for the Bihar NMMS 2025.
Eligibility criteria
To qualify for the Bihar NMMS 2025, applicants must meet the following criteria:
Students must be enrolled in the eighth grade at any recognised government or government-aided school in Bihar. Applicants must have received at least 55% in their Class 7 final exams (general category) or 50% (SC/ST students). Applicants must be under the age of 13 on July 1, 2024.
How to apply?
-Go to scert.bihar.gov.in, the website of SCERT Bihar.
-Choose the "NMMSS Online Application Academic Year 2024-25" option on the homepage.
-Go to the following page, where login and registration choices are displayed. To get started, select the registration option.
-Carefully fill out the registration form with all the necessary information, then submit it.
-You will obtain an ID and password for future logins after completing the registration process.
-To proceed with the application procedure, enter these login credentials into the site.
-Fill out the form and attach any necessary files as instructed.
-Download and store the application receipt for your records after submitting it.
The NMMS 2025 exam is planned for January 19, 2025. The award aims to help students from economically disadvantaged households finish their education and lower school dropout rates.
