The Assam Teacher Eligibility cum Recruitment Test admit cards will be out on December 15 at 11 am, as per an official announcement. It will be available on madhyamik.assam.gov.in for eligible candidates to download.
December 29 is the date of the Assam TET combined recruitment exam.
The announcement was made by Assam Education Minister Ranoj Pegu on his official 'X' account, "Candidates appearing for the TET cum Recruitment Test, 2024, can download their Admit Cards from 11 A.M. on 15/12/2024 via the official website: http://madhyamik.assam.gov.in using their Application No. and Password."
Important guidelines
-Candidates must bring their admit card to the exam location along with a government-issued picture identification card, such as an Aadhar card, PAN card, voter ID, or driver's license, according to the Directorate of Secondary Education's admit card announcement.
-Additionally, it said that candidates must adhere to the rules listed on their admission card.
-According to the directorate, PwD candidates must submit credentials from an authorised organisation.
Exam pattern
The Assam TET (Teachers' Eligibility Test) exam pattern consists of two papers: Paper I and Paper II. Paper I is for candidates who wish to teach classes I to V, while Paper II is for those who wish to teach classes VI to VIII. Both papers have 150 multiple-choice questions, with each question carrying 1 mark. The duration of each paper is 2.5 hours. Paper I covers subjects like Child Development and Pedagogy, Language I, Language II, Mathematics, and Environmental Studies. Paper II covers subjects like Child Development and Pedagogy, Language I, Language II, Mathematics and Science, or Social Studies.
