Train Update! Four West Central Railway Trains Diverted Due To Third Line Commissioning Work
Four West Central Railway trains, including the Shaktipunj Express and Bhopal-Dhanbad Express, will run on diverted routes due to non-interlocking work for third-line commissioning on the Chhipadohar-Barwadih-Mangra Halt section under East Central Railway. The diversions will remain in effect on different dates until June 27.

Bhopal (Madhya Pradesh): To ensure passenger convenience, safety, and improved operational efficiency, non-interlocking work related to the commissioning of a third railway line is being carried out on the Chhipadohar-Barwadih-Mangra Halt section of the Dhanbad Division under East Central Railway.
During this period, the routes of four trains operated by West Central Railway have been diverted.
Trains with diverted routes (effective on the following dates):
Jabalpur-Howrah Shaktipunj Express: Up to June 26, 2026, after departing from Jabalpur, the train will run via Garhwa - Garhwa Road Link Cabin - Son Nagar Junction - Gaya Junction - Dhanbad Junction.
Howrah-Jabalpur Shaktipunj Express: From June 23 to June 27, 2026, after departing from Howrah, the train will run via Dhanbad Junction - Gaya Junction - Son Nagar Junction - Garhwa Road Link Cabin - Garhwa.
