Super-Cars, Super-Bikes & WWII Jeeps Steal The Show At Bhopal’s Freedom-Day Rally

Bhopal (Madhya Pradesh): Bhopal’s Independence Day celebrations took on a high-octane twist this year with the Independence Ignition 2025 rally, which began from Link Road-1 and is now electrifying Minal Walking Street. 

The event, a rare fusion of motorsport thrill and patriotic fervour, features an extraordinary line-up of supercars, vintage jeeps, and superbikes.

A collection of 17 vintage automobiles, including World War II-era Willys and Ford Jeeps, has drawn history buffs and auto enthusiasts alike. Visitors from across the region have flocked to witness these mechanical treasures.

On the modern side, luxury beasts like the Mercedes AMG, BMW, Porsche, Ford Mustang, and even 'surprise cars' valued at over Rs. 2 crore are turning heads. The performance zone is alive with drifting and speed runs, sending adrenaline levels soaring.

Superbike lovers are treated to an impressive lineup - Kawasaki Ninja ZX-10R, Suzuki Hayabusa, BMW S 1000 RR, Kawasaki Z900, and massive choppers - roaring through stunt zones.

Adding to the thrill, BMX-style bike stunts and freestyle shows keep the crowd hooked. MTV Stuntmania star Syed Adil Kazmi, performing at the event, said, “We’re celebrating Freedom Day with all motorsports members to promote safe riding. Helmets and seat belts are non-negotiable.”
