Bhopal (Madhya Pradesh): Shahjahanabad Police arrested a 20-year-old man within hours for sexually exploiting a minor girl over the past two months.
The arrest comes as part of the city police’s ongoing efforts to act swiftly in crimes related to women and children, following strict directives from senior officials.

The 17 year old minor girl, accompanied by her family, approached the Shahjahanabad police on Monday and reported being physically assaulted by the accused, Shekhar Nakwal, a resident of Vajpayee Nagar, Idgah Hills.
Repeated threats and exploitation
During investigations the victim revealed that Shekhar had been repeatedly threatening and sexually exploiting her. The latest assault took place on the night of Sunday.

Based on her statement, a case was registered under POCSO Act and other relevant sections of BNS. A police team led by Sub-Inspector Bana Singh Pawar swiftly traced and arrested the accused, who was attempting to flee the city.
