MP News: 32-Year-Old Man Dies After Jumping In Front Of Moving Train Near Pitambara Temple In Chhatarpur
A 32-year-old man, Surendra Sahu, died after being hit by a train near Pitambara Temple in Chhatarpur on Friday morning. Police suspect suicide. The victim, a rickshaw puller living on Satai Road, was found near the railway track. No suicide note was found, and police have started an investigation.

Chhatarpur (Madhya Pradesh): A 32-year-old man died after jumping in front of a train in Chhatarpur on Friday.
The incident took place near a railway bridge close to the Pitambara Temple area of the city.
The deceased has been identified as Surendra Sahu (32), son of the late Babulal Sahu. He was living in a rented house on Satai Road in Chhatarpur. According to local sources, Surendra worked as a rickshaw puller and earned his livelihood by driving a rickshaw.
After receiving information, railway police and a team from the Civil Line police station reached the spot and began an investigation.
Police said they received information in the morning about a body lying near the railway track. When railway police reached the spot, they found the body in a badly damaged condition.
Initial investigation suggests that the man was hit by a train. Police suspect that it may be a case of suicide, but the exact reason is still not known.
Railway police informed the Civil Line police station about the incident. After that, the local police team arrived at the spot and completed the necessary procedures. The body was later sent to the district hospital for post-mortem examination.
Police officials said they are now trying to find out the reason behind the suspected suicide. In the initial inquiry, financial problems or personal issues are being considered as possible reasons, but nothing has been confirmed yet.
No suicide note has been found so far. Police are questioning the deceased man’s family members and people living nearby to understand what may have led to the incident.
