Man Steals Mobile From Passenger Onboard Rajdhani Express, Access His Bank Account & Transfers ₹5.5 Lakh; Accused Arrested From Baramulla
Investigation revealed that the money stolen from the stolen mobile was used to purchase an iPhone

Bhopal (Madhya Pradesh): Bhopal Government Railway Police (GRP) has arrested a man for allegedly stealing a passenger's mobile phone and transferring Rs 5.5 lakh from his bank account onboard Rajdhani Express.
Victim Tanveer is a resident of Sagar, Madhya Pradesh. He lodged a complaint at Bhopal GRP police station. GRP immediately started investigation on the basis of the complaint.
The arrested accused has been identified as Faizan, a resident of Baramulla district of Jammu and Kashmir. Faizan’s friend Shaukat was also involved in this crime. They are nursing students and both were travelling to Bangalore.

During the investigation, the police analysed the bank transactions linked to the mobile. Investigation revealed that the money siphoned off from the stolen mobile was used to purchase an iPhone through a giftcard in Pune
Main accused arrested from Baramulla
Based on the clues, the police identified the shop in Pune from where the iPhone was purchased. The CCTV footage of the shop was scanned, which recorded suspicious activities.
The clues found in the footage led the police to Baramulla district of Jammu and Kashmir. After this, a special team of GRP raided Baramulla and arrested the main accused Faizan.
Stolen mobile sold in Bangalore
According to information, after the arrest, Faizan told that he and his friend Shaukat, were going to Bangalore. During the journey, Shaukat stole Tanveer's mobile in Rajdhani Express.
After this, both of them together sold the stolen mobile in Bangalore. Shaukat used the money received from the mobile for online betting. Faizan also admitted that both he and Shaukat were involved in this entire plan of cheating.
