Bhopal (Madhya Pradesh): The principal of a government school in Rewa recently arrived at the school under the influence of alcohol and the video of the incident has gone viral on social media. The incident took place at Jawah Government High School in Rewa district, where Principal Munna Lal Kol was seen arriving at school intoxicated.
His condition was recorded and it soon spread across social media. When the inspection officer arrived at the scene, an argument broke out between him and the principal. The education department is now preparing to take strict action in this matter. This is not the first time that Principal Munna Lal Kol had been seen in such a state.

According to locals, he frequently comes to school drunk. On this occasion, when Cluster Principal Hiramani Tripathi visited the school for inspection, he found the principal in an inebriated condition and recorded a video of the argument that ensued with the officer.
Villagers had previously complained about Kol’s frequent visits to school while being drunk. Based on these complaints, the District Education Officer had instructed the Cluster Principal to conduct a school inspection. Upon reaching the school, the officer found the principal drunk. DEO Sudhama Gupta told Free Press that we came to know that earlier also Kol was suspended but he apologised and came back to work.
