MP Govt Temporarily Promotes 190 Tehsildars, Superintendents To State Administrative Service
The Madhya Pradesh government has temporarily promoted and posted selected Tehsildars, Superintendents and In-charge Deputy Collectors to the Junior Scale of the State Administrative Service (Executive). The officers will take charge from the date of joining and continue until further orders. The move aims to strengthen the state’s administrative framework by filling key executive positions.

Bhopal (Madhya Pradesh): The Madhya Pradesh government has issued an administrative order announcing the temporary promotion and posting of selected Tehsildars, Superintendents and In-charge Deputy Collectors to the Junior Scale of the State Administrative Service (Executive).
According to the General Administration Department (GAD) order, the officers will assume their new responsibilities from the date they take charge and continue in these positions until further orders.
The promoted officers have been placed in the Junior Scale with a pay structure of ₹15,600–39,100 plus Grade Pay of ₹5,400, corresponding to Pay Matrix Level 12 under the Madhya Pradesh Revision of Pay Rules, 2017.
The order further states that the appointments have been made against the posts specified opposite each officer’s name in the official list attached to the notification.
The move aims to strengthen the administrative framework by filling key executive positions across the state on a temporary basis, pending further government decisions.
Officials promoted
Among those promoted, Ajay Pathak has been posted as Deputy Collector in Vidisha, while Ajay Kumar Sharma has been shifted as Deputy Collector in Sidhi. Janeshwar Verma has been appointed Deputy Collector in Sagar.
Other officials receiving new assignments include Neela Shrivastava, posted as Assistant Director in Bhopal; Bharat Kumar, appointed Deputy Collector in Guna; and Alka, posted as Deputy Collector in Raisen.
The order also mentions the postings of Pramod Kumar Choudhary, Prakash Chandra Pandey, Alok Pare, Prakashanand Jain, Rashmi Choudhary and Sudeep Kumar Meena at various locations, including Morena, Bhopal, Shahdol and Indore Development Authority.
The GAD said the postings have been made under the provisions of the Madhya Pradesh Service Rules and will remain effective until further instructions.
