From Dancing In Rain To Getting Stuck In Water, Bhopalis Drench In Heavy Showers; Check Pictures
As the rain poured for hours, many low-lying and residential areas were submerged under water.

Bhopal (Madhya Pradesh): Heavy rainfall in Bhopal on Monday and Tuesday led to severe waterlogging and disruption in several parts of the city.
As the rain poured for hours, many low-lying and residential areas were submerged under water.
On Smart City Road, the situation turned unusual as the road looked like a flowing stream.
Some youngsters were seen enjoying themselves, splashing and playing in the gushing water as if it were a waterfall.
In another part of the city, a large tree collapsed on the Bittan Market Road due to strong winds and rain.
This not only blocked the road but also caused traffic issues and panic among passersby.
The Nishatpura underbridge was completely flooded, making it impossible for vehicles or even two-wheelers to pass through.
The area witnessed a traffic standstill for hours.
In Sundar Nagar, rainwater entered the lanes and houses, and people had to walk through knee-deep water.
Residents faced major inconvenience as daily movement became difficult.
Similar was the situation in Udiya Basti near Chhola, where muddy water filled the narrow roads, and locals had to struggle through the slushy paths.
The rain clearly showed that Bhopal’s drainage system is not good and the city is not ready to handle heavy rains in many areas.
