Bhopal Vijay Rajput Murder: Angry Hindu Groups Stage Protest, Block Roads, March Towards CM House Demanding NSA Action In Ashoka Garden Murder Case-- VIDEO
Members of Hindu organisations protested in Bhopal on Wednesday over the murder of 35-year-old Vijay Mewada, also known as Bittu, in the Ashoka Garden area. Under the banner of Sakal Hindu Samaj, protesters marched towards the CM House demanding NSA action against the accused. Police stopped them near Polytechnic Square. The killing followed a minor dispute that turned violent.

Bhopal (Madhya Pradesh): Furious over Vijay Rajput Mewada's murder in Ashoka Garden, members of several Hindu organisations took to streets in Bhopal on Wednesday.
The protest was organised under the call of Sakal Hindu Samaj. Members of Hindu Utsav Samiti, Bajrang Dal and other groups demanded action under the National Security Act (NSA) against the non-Hindu accused.
Roads Blocked, Heavy Jam
Protesters marched from Roshanpura Square towards the CM House, but police stopped them on the way, leading heavy jams on Kamla Park Road, Polytechnic Sqyare, Shahjanabad Road.
Despite barricading, some protesters broke through the barriers and reached Polytechnic Square, about 100 metres from the CM House, where they continued their protest.

Hindu Utsav Samiti president Chandrashekhar Tiwari said the killers of Vijay Rajput must face strict action under NSA and demanded that bulldozer action be taken against their houses.
The incident took place late Sunday night in Ashoka Garden when a minor dispute turned violent. According to reports, Vijay tried to calm the accused by calling them “beta”, but they attacked him with a knife. He later died from his injuries.
On Monday morning, angry family members and locals blocked the road in Subhash Colony to protest the killing. The jam was cleared after about 30 minutes following police intervention, though a brief argument also took place between the family and the police.
Police said the main accused is Asif, also known as Bam, who allegedly carried out the murder with his associates.
What is the matter?
The 35-year-old trader, Vijay Mewada, was brutally stabbed to death by a group of miscreants under the Ashoka Garden police station limits at around 1 am on Monday following a minor altercation after he refused for a drink party.
A case was registered against the key accused, Asif Bom, and his aides under Section 103 and other sections of the BNS. The body was handed over to the family after the post-mortem.
According to reports, the incident took place when Vijay, a resident of Subhash Nagar, was returning from Kolar after closing his tea shop.
He had gone to Pragati Nagar to drop his workers, where they encountered local criminal Asif aka Bom and his aides Imran, Farman and Kalu.
