Bhopal: Notes Of Flutes Mingle With Raindrops, Leave Audience Enchanted
The duo began with raga ‘Saraswati’ in which Rishabh presented the tune of his father Pandit Rajendra Prasanna.

Bhopal (Madhya Pradesh): Melodious notes of flutes welcomed the spring clouds that turned into raindrops outside Bharat Bhavan on Thursday evening.
The audience enjoyed the real tang of Jugalbandi of silver flute by French artiste Samuel Bricault and flute by Indian artiste Rishab Prasanna. It was part of a special Indo-French classical concert ‘Enchanting Flutes,’ organised under the joint aegis of Bharat Bhavan and Alliance Française de Bhopal.
Abhishek Mishra accompanied them on tabla. The duo began with raga ‘Saraswati’ in which Rishabh presented the tune of his father Pandit Rajendra Prasanna.
They presented Ramdhun whose lyrics were Payoji maine Ram Ratan dhan payo...’. After that the artistes presented Jugalbandi under Guru-Shishya tradition in Raga Megh. Samuel presented a tune of Mozart and French folk music which enchanted music lovers. He also presented some tunes from Irish flute and silver flute. The presentation ended with the artistes presenting blend of music of both the countries through flute.
‘Played Irish flute to collect money’
Besides, the artsites interacted with the audience. Samuel greeted the audience with ‘Namaste’ and after that he shared his musical journey with them. Samuel said that he used to practice French dance at the age of five. He loved music very much. ‘My father did not want to give me money. Then to collect money, I started playing Irish flute. I played flute for students in school,’ he said, adding that ‘Then, I decided that I want to become a musician.’ He also trained in Indian music, in France and in India with Pt Rajendra Prasanna.
