A video showing the hijacking of the Jaffar Express train near Pakistan's Quetta is being widely shared by Baloch groups on social media. According to reports, these are the first visuals of the hijacking.
However, there is no official confirmation by the Pakistani government or the rebels. In the video, it could be seen that the train was passing through a mountainous train believed to be of Balochistan.

The video shows black smoke billowing out from some of the coaches of the train and then a blast occurred. Armed men could also be seen next to the train. These are believed to be Baloch rebels.
On Tuesday afternoon, Baloch rebels hijacked the train plying between Quetta and Peshawar. There were around 450 passengers aboard the train when Balock rebels launched an attack.
As per the latest updates, 27 Baloch rebels have been killed and over 150 passengers have been rescued.
