In the Jodhpur district of Rajasthan, police arrested a criminal named Daya Shankar, who dressed himself as a woman to mislead cops and escape with wrongdoings.

Daya Shankar reportedly has as a record of 13 criminal records including charges of fights, assault, robbery and threats. The video of his arrest has gone viral on social media. It shows him dressed in a saree and blouse.

The video of his incident has gone viral as he was seen wearing a saree, blouse and a peticoat to fool the cops. The cops said he was one of the wanted criminals and was playing the 'lady act' since the long time.

Under the leadership of head constable Shamsher Khan, the police team was able to nab him off with a tip received from sources.

According to reports, Daya Shankar was accussed in a threat and attack case registered on Feb 13 this year.

A 23-year-old victim Prince Chawla reported in the complaint that Daya Shankar along with his gang members beat him severely with bottles, sticks & punches and threatened to not file a complaint. The history sheeter Daya Shankar was on run.

From the past few days, the police raided Daya Shankar's house multiple times but couldn't get him as he continued to misguide them under woman's attire. Finally, when a source closer to police informed that the lady at Daya Shankar's house is no one but the history sheeter himself, police under the leadership of head constable Shamsher Khan raided his house and caught him off guard.
