An incident straight out of a Bollywood film was captured by a CCTV camera in Uttar Pradesh's Rampur province. A bunch of villagers were seen sprinting to catch a thief in Tin Wali Masjid Mohalla of Rampur, as reported. The thief was also spotted firing two gunshots in the viral CCTV footage. No reports have been registered of any injuries yet.

Rampur, Uttar Pradesh: An incident straight out of a Bollywood film was captured by a CCTV camera in Uttar Pradesh's Rampur province. A bunch of villagers were seen sprinting to catch a thief in Tin Wali Masjid Mohalla of Rampur, as reported. The thief was also spotted firing two gunshots in the viral CCTV footage. No reports have been registered of any injuries yet. The clip has taken the Internet by storm, and netizens are relating it to the popular climax scenes of Bollywood movies.
The CCTV footage shows a thief running while firing gunshots at the villagers running behind him to catch him. More than 50-70 villagers can be seen sprinting behind him in the tiny lane, many of them are not even dressed fully while some of them are noticeably underprepared. One of the villagers also spotted making his 'ghuthka' in his hands while running.
According to reports, the incident is from Tin Wali Masjid Mohalla of UP's Rampur. While police are still investigating the matter and looking for the thief. The video is being surfaced on the social media platform with netizens pouring hilarious comments.

Rising Thief Threats In UP
One of the posts on the incident by X user @ZakirAliTyagi says that Western UP has been gripped by thieves and miscreants recently. The translation of his Hindi tweet reads, "Western UP has been gripped by thieves and miscreants these days. I have come to my village, and just now, thieves broke into a house. Hearing the noise, the villagers tried to surround them, but the thieves fired at the village people and escaped!
He further adds, "There is an atmosphere of fear in all the surrounding villages, and every person in every village is guarding their village and homes with sticks and clubs. Just last night, incidents of attacks on women and looting came to light in the neighboring villages!"
