2023 Graduate From Bengaluru Asks Recruiters To 'Burn Resume' But Hire Him For Remote Job ASAP

A 2023 graduate from Bengaluru offered companies a shocking opportunity to hire his services. Unable to secure a job for long, he desperately stated he would work for free and join immediately. The only condition he had was to embark on a role that would allow him to work remotely.
After more than a year of not finding work, he drew attention of netizens and recruiters through a viral social media post. Taking to Reddit, the college pass-out asked companies to "Burn his resume" but hire him at the earliest.
"Burn my resume but please help. Desperate & Ready to Work for Free Remotely – 23' Grad Looking for a Job ASAP", the post read.

The job seeker described himself as an engineer in his CV.
"I am a driven Software Engineer with a B.E. in Information Science and Engineering, proficient in Python and Java. Passionate about creating user-friendly applications and solving challenges with innovative solutions and seeking an entry-level role to bring fresh ideas and drive impactful software development", he wrote.
As per the document, the Bengaluru-based graduate had basic work experience with two internships alongside holding skills beneficial in programming, cloud computing, and software development.

Recruiters respond as post goes viral
As the post surfaced on Reddit, many people responded to it. A couple of startup agencies approached him to write to them.
"We at TEKsystems are Hiring for Java Developers , looking for someone ideally with experience of Java, Spring boot, Microservices ,Hibernate and AWS experience", a company responded.
"Hello, At CyberNX Technologies Pvt. Ltd., we have some exciting career opportunities available, and we would like to connect with talented individuals like yourself. If you're interested, please share your updated resume with us", said another.
"Hey hi I’m hiring. You might be a good fit. Check our website https://plattrtechstudio.com if you’re interested. Send me a DM in Reddit. We’re an early stage startup looking for kickass interns. Thank you", one more Reddit user stated.
"Remote is a preference, searching for any (job)"
The job seeker later clarified that despite mainly looking for a WFH role, he was open to taking up in-office roles too. He informed preferring remote roles to assist his ailing uncle. "Remote coz my uncle had accident 8rib fracture so need to be here but i can relocate to! Remote is a preference", he wrote. "Bro im searching for any (job)", he added.
