Lucknow, August 24: Understanding the needs of every child and providing appropriate educational support is an important objective of the Yogi Government's inclusive education policy. In this direction, a special arrangement has been made under Prashast 2.0 to sensitise and prepare teachers before the screening of children.

Through sensitisation videos available on the Prashast App/Portal, teachers are being given an opportunity to understand the screening process and its importance, so that children's needs can be identified at the school level with greater sensitivity and understanding.

In accordance with the directions of the Director General, School Education, all Divisional Assistant Directors of Education (Basic) and District Basic Education Officers have been asked to direct the teachers concerned to watch the sensitisation videos. Officials have been instructed to ensure that all concerned teachers watch the videos available on the Prashast App/Portal and complete onboarding as per the prescribed process.

This initiative of the Yogi Government is moving forward towards better identification of children's needs by integrating technology with teachers' sensitivity. Through Prashast 2.0, teachers will be prepared before the screening process, which will further strengthen an inclusive and need-based education system at the school level.

Under Prashast 2.0, a total of 10 sensitisation videos of around 40 minutes have been made available for teachers before the screening of children. Watching these videos has been made mandatory for teachers. Through these videos, teachers are being provided essential information related to the screening process, enabling them to better understand the educational needs of children.

All teachers of Parishadiya, private aided and private unaided schools in the state are being linked to the Prashast App/Portal to watch the online sensitisation videos. The objective is to provide teachers with uniform information and the necessary sensitivity before implementing the screening process on a large scale.

The Prashast App/Portal is being used to provide sensitisation videos to teachers. Through this platform, teachers can watch the videos online and prepare themselves for the screening process. The use of technology has made the system of delivering training and sensitisation material to teachers across the state simpler and more effective.

Under Prashast 2.0, children's screening has been linked with teacher preparedness. Providing teachers with the necessary information and sensitivity before screening will create a stronger foundation for understanding the needs of children. This will help schools identify such children and determine the direction of the educational support required for them.
