American Tennis player Taylor Townsend hilariously brought Frozen Honey Deuce drink into the presser following the US Open 2025 women's doubles title match. Townsend, who came into the press conference alongside Kateřina Siniaková, was seen sipping the drink and cheekily said, 'Frozen Honey Deuce for media. First question'.

Townsend and Siniaková were defeated by Erin Routliffe and Gabriela Dabrowski 4-6, 4-6 in straight sets to win the US Open 2025 women's doubles' title. Meanwhile, Honey Deuce drink is a customary signature cocktail served during US Open tennis tournament and the cocktail is made of Grey Goose, Vodka, Lemonade and Raspberry liqueur. Frozen honeydew melon balls are usually used for garnishing the drink.

"I feel extremely grateful to be standing here as a champion" - Gabriela Dabrowski

Speaking after the straight-set victory in the final, Dabrowski acknowledged that a win is a fitting ending to what has been a chaotic few months for them. She stated, as quoted by BBC Sport:

"Erin, what a wild ride. It's been absolutely crazy. We've been through so much together and I feel extremely grateful to be standing here as a champion alongside you today. It means the world. Thank you for sticking by me, thank you for the support - and we rock on."

Meanwhile, it was a highly eventful tournament for Townsend. The 29-year-old had reached the last 16 of the women's singles category, registering her best run in Grand Slam events. Nevertheless, Townsend's second-round victory over Jelena Ostapenko was marred by an argument between the two over the latter allegedly saying her opponent had 'no class' and no education'.

Ostapenko had notably later apologised for her comments.
