Raipur: Binita Sharma, a woman convicted for exploiting tribal children, absconding for the last 10 years finally got arrested from Ghaziabad in Uttar Pradesh. The court has already sentenced his husband Satish Sharma to life imprisonment in the year 2022.
The police have imposed sections like Scheduled Castes and Tribes Act, Juvenile Justice and Protection of Children Act and 420 on the accused. Meanwhile, her wife has been absconding and evading arrest for the last 10 years and got arrested, informed police.
Earlier the couple had been accused of exploiting the three tribal children from Kanker. As per the information received, the couple took away all the three children with them on the pretext of educating them under a government scheme.

But they were forced to do household work and treated as servants. The couple also forbade the children from speaking to their parents. Finally, the distressed parent lodged a complaint and the action got initiated.
