Chhattisgarh: 5 Female Maoists Surrender In Narayanpur, ₹5 Lakh Bounty Announced
Police claimed that these female Maoists surrendered before police after getting influenced from the Niyad Nellanar government’s flagship scheme for Naxal affected disturbed areas.

Raipur: In a strong hold cum safe area for Naxals, 5 female Maoists working under the Mad Division Kutul, Nelnar, Paralkot Area Committee in Narayanpur district surrendered. The government has announced a total of 5 lakh rupees (1 lakh each) reward was declared on these surrendered female Naxals.
Police claimed that these female Maoists surrendered before police after getting influenced from the Niyad Nellanar government’s flagship scheme for Naxal affected disturbed areas.
As a result of the efforts of the security forces, the Maoists have surrendered and want to live a normal life freely by joining the mainstream of society, Narayanpur police said.

The surrendered Maoists are identified as Lakshmi Vanjami, Sunny alias Jamli Podiami, Anita Usendi (Nelnar LOS member), Sukay Podiami (Kutul LOA member) and Kumme Podiami were actively working as members of the Paralkot Jan Militia.
A total of 87 Maoists of large and small cadre have surrendered so far in the year 2025, police claimed.
On surrendering, all the Maoists were given a check of 25 thousand as an incentive amount and they will be given all kinds of facilities available under the Naxal eradication policy, the communiqué said.
