Mumbai: Central Railway annouched on February 16, that they will operate special trains for the Kumbh Mela, with various arrangements made at the departure points of these trains. These arrangements include additional ticket booking counters, "May I Help You" booths, and continuous information provided through the public announcement system.
Central Railway also mentioned that Passengers will receive updates about the train's status, the condition of the coaches, the direction of travel, and where the coaches will be positioned on the platform, along with how long they will remain at each station.

Official said, to ensure smooth boarding, RPF and commercial staff have been deployed. These measures have been implemented for the special trains running for the Kumbh Mela 2025.
Special trains will depart on the following dates:
February 21st, from Pune to Mahu Junction,
February 22nd, from Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Terminus,
February 23rd, from Nagpur,
February 26th, again from Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Terminus.
For passenger convenience, additional RPF staff will be present, as per the railway official. Passengers are requested to purchase the correct tickets and adhere to the seating arrangements to avoid any inconvenience.
